Well, since I read all the books before some others in my class even finished their first. I'd have to say that I like the books, a lot. As for recommending it, yes, I would like to recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy. I'd also like to recommend it to anyone interested in the Gods, although I always got confused which god does what. If you don't like any of those then maybe you'll read it because The Lightning Thief movie hits the theaters February 10th! Also please note if you do "plan" on reading the series please start from book 1 then read up to book 5.
Book 1-The Lightning Thief
Book 2-The Sea of Monsters
Book 3-The Titans Curse
Book 4-The Battle of the Labyrinth
Book 5-The Last Olympian
Why do I say that? Well, if you don't believe me then read all the books backwards, I assure you that you WILL get confused.
